Summary:
As a High-Tech Coinless Laundry Attendant, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service in a technologically advanced laundromat facility.
Your role will involve assisting customers with the operation of high-tech, cashless laundry equipment, ensuring a smooth and efficient experience for all users.
This position can be fast-paced.
Key
Responsibilities:
Customer Service:
Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner, providing guidance on using our coinless laundry equipment and services.
Respond to customer inquiries, troubleshoot issues, and provide support as needed.
Ensure a positive customer experience by addressing concerns or complaints promptly and effectively.
Equipment Operation and Maintenance:
Familiarize yourself with the operation of the high-tech laundry equipment, including card-based payment systems, touchscreens, and mobile apps.
Assist customers in understanding and using the various features and settings of the equipment for optimal laundry results.
Monitor the equipment during operation, promptly addressing any malfunctions, errors, or technical issues.
Perform routine maintenance tasks on the machines, such as cleaning filters and reporting repairs when necessary.
Cashless Payment Handling:
Educate customers on the cashless payment options available, such as gift cards, mobile wallets, or online payments.
Assist customers in loading funds onto their laundry accounts and resolve any payment-related issues or discrepancies.
Ensure accurate and secure transactions while adhering to company policies and procedures.
Facility Maintenance:
Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the laundromat facility, including the washing machines, dryers, folding tables, and other areas.
Regularly clean touchscreens, card readers, and other high-tech equipment to maintain functionality and hygiene.
Monitor and restock laundry supplies and amenities, such as detergents, fabric softeners, and laundry bags.
Technical Support:
Provide basic technical support to customers who may encounter issues with the high-tech equipment, such as connectivity, card readers, or app usage.
Collaborate with technical support teams or vendors to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical problems when necessary.
Stay updated on the latest technology trends and advancements in laundry equipment to provide informed assistance to customers.
Sorting and Preparing Laundry:
Sort and categorize customers' laundry items based on color, fabric type, and washing instructions.
Check garments for stains, damages, or special care requirements, and communicate relevant information to customers.
Pre-treat stains and handle delicate or specialty items with care, following specific instructions provided by customers.
Folding and Packaging:
Fold, stack, and package laundry items neatly and professionally, following established folding techniques and guidelines.
Use appropriate packaging materials such as plastic bags, hangers, or boxes to maintain cleanliness and prevent wrinkles.
Ensure accurate sorting and packaging of customers' items, preventing any mix-ups or confusion.
Quality Control and Inspection:
Perform quality checks on laundered items to ensure cleanliness, proper folding, and absence of damages or stains.
Address any quality issues or discrepancies, including re-washing or re-folding items when necessary.
Maintain attention to detail and consistency to meet or exceed customer expectations.
Safety and Security:
Enforce safety rules and guidelines within the laundromat facility, promoting a secure environment for customers and employees.
Monitor the premises for any suspicious activities or individuals and report any incidents or emergencies to the appropriate authorities.
Qualifications and Skills:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Excellent customer service and communication skills.
Technologically savvy with the ability to quickly learn and navigate high-tech laundry equipment and related systems.
Strong problem-solving skills to troubleshoot technical issues.
Basic math skills for payment handling and record keeping.
Attention to detail and ability to maintain cleanliness and organization.
Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy laundry loads, bend, and stand for extended periods.
Starting pay is $16+/hr plus tips with free personal laundry.
The Mat is open every day from 9:
00am to 9:
